From my point of view I think I haven’t improved a lot, because when I began 1st batxillerat in 2007 I just had the same skill that I have now, it’s true that I’ve probably improved because I’ve had to do lots of entries in the blog, but in my opinion the level hasn’t changed a lot, because I don’t like work in the blog. It’s not that I don’t like, what it happens is that it’s an obligation for me, and when there’s something I have to do compulsory I do it badly, so my level hasn’t had the oportunity to improve because the work I’ve done it hadn’t been constant, I’ve always done the entries in the last days, so, in my opinion, my level hasn’t changed a lot.
Although it can seem that in some writings I’ve improved or I’ve decreased my level, it’s not true. My case is a strange one, I’m not a constant person, and depending on how I feel the day I had to work I did it better or worse.
What’s true is that I have improved in my orals, well, in fact I did it better in 1st batxillerat than in the two seconds, but this is because in 1st batxillerat I prepared them whereas now the only thing I did was making the Power Point and my orals were totally spontanious, without preparation. And what it really helped me was travell to London, this year I had to speak a lot because I was the only of my group with a minimum knowledge so I had to speak a lot.

The only aspect where I really think that I’ve improved is in listenings, I’ve always had problems in the listenings, it’s not that I had bad marks in the listenings but the average compared with the writings, the speakings or the readings was lower. I think it has helped a lot the fact that, apart from practicing, watching films in english. Firstly I did it in english with spanish or catalan subtitles, later with english subtitles and finally, without subtitles, and, as more films I watched better marks in listenings I had.

So, as I said, my improvements hasn’t come from things I’ve done in the blog, my improvements come from things I’ve done by pleaseure, or because there are things I like to do, as watching films.

Finally, I want to show an example of what has happened in my case, for example, my first letter to the teacher and my last composition, you will see that although the level could be a little bit lower in the first letter, it was more correct that my last writing, which has been the one with the worst mark I had in batxillerat.

The Black Vulture

This night in a bird center from Mollar de Dalt in the Pirineus a Black Vulture has born. This is the first time that a member of this specie is born in captivity here in Catalunya, so it’s a great new because this mean that experts are nearer to reintroduce the Black Vulture, which was extinguished since 1907, in our mountains.

Wolfs in the Prepirineus

Some weeks ago a wolf was seen in the Catalonian Prepirineus. Wolves had disappeared in Catalonia since the forties and fifties, and it wasn’t any programme to reintroduce it in our mountains, so this means that it probably was a wolf from the French Pirineus or from Navarra which has arrived to the Prepirineus in search of food.

Barça out of the Champions League

Two Tuesdays ago Barça went to Milan to play against Inter and the result was scary, Barça lost, the result of the the match finally was 3-1. It’s true that Barça didn’t deserve to win, because they played very bad, but Inter didn’t deserve to win for 3 goals, they has the referee with them.
Last Wednesday Inter came to the Camp Nou, it was one of the most expected matches of the season, but Inter played only defending, Barça needed two goals to pass to the final, but they only were able to make one. It was a pity because the finale was in Bernabeu’s field. But it doesn’t matter, there will be much more leagues to enjoy how Barça wins.

"Gorgonas": The masters of fire

For some people when they hear the word "Gorgona" think in a mythologic monsters which looked lie a gelyfish, for other people this word doesn't mean anything, but for the cientific world, since now a Gorgona will be an extinted dinosaur which really had the abbility of producing fire.
During the 2007 a fossil of an extinted dinosaur which wasn't catalogated was found in Siberia under the glass. Well, the fact is that after repeating hundreds of times their investigations of the extinted animal, cientifics arrived to the conclusion that "gorgonas" were as an adult male african elefant size, their diet based in whatever they found of dead meat and they had the faculty of producing fire with their mouth closed to eliminated all the infections that the meat could have.
Well, since now when I think or read about dragons I'm not going to be so far from the reallity.

China: The new strongest country

Since the First World War or The Great War, and more sinde the Second World War the United States of Amercia had become the strongest country in the world, but now this could be changing, becoming a fact of the past, and we could have realised too late.
This wee the ONU has shown some informs written by its investigators which show that China has beeng spending for several years 17.000 millions of dollars in weapons and guns research, and that including its reserve troops (civils which have received millitary trainig and are prepared to fight in a war), China has a total of 600 million troops prepared to enter in combat when it appears the necessity.
China is a Comunist Dictadure, this the reaseon not to know this valuable information. A country with a weapon force as chineese one was unbelievable for ourd modern times. 600 millions of troops in war would mean the supremacy of China in fron of the res of the world.

Laporta 2010

Laporta is still the current president of FC Barcelon, but this is going to change on 2010, because he made a law which said that a president could only be president of FC Barcelon for eight years. It's for that reason that after his candidature has decided to spend all his time in a politic team with Catalonian nationalist ideas.
On Monday 1st of March Laporta activated his own webpage calle www.laporta2010.cat . The main aim of this webpage was to show the ideology, the medhod and the things he wants to do for Catalonia. The problem is that in the webpage Laporta didn't express clearly what he wants to do in the politic world.
Although this lack of information the webpage was collapsed, in one minute there were more than 6000 visitors, this means that every second 600 people visitted the webpage.
I don't know what is going to do Laporta, but I think that could earn lots of votes because of being the best Barça president of all times.

Pokemon! Catch'em all!!!

I know that it sounds strange that a boy of eighteen years old is attracted by Pokemon, but the truth is that since I restarted to play during the last year I haven't stopped.
Pokemon appeared on 1995 in Hapan and arrived to Europe several years later. First of all there were 151 pokemons, on 2001 appeared new versions of the videogames and the number of Pokemon increased to 251. By this time was when I stopped playing, but las year as I didn't study and I didn't do anything I began to play with the third generation of Pokemon videogames, which increased the number of capturable Pokemons to 386.
As I said, I haven't stopped to play and two months ago I bought NintendoDS to a friend and the Pokemon Platinium, the last Pokemon videogame which has appeared. In this new game there are 493 Pokemons, and obviouslu, I catch'em all!
Next year is goint to appear the 5th generation and I hope it will be as wonderful as the previous ones:D

My new PC

Yesterdat, at 7 o'clock a.m. I disconnected my PC and I put it on the car because in the evening I wanted to bring it to PC-System, the shop were I bought the computer, because I wanted to have the PC repaired.
When I arrived to the sop the boy from there took my computer, he opened it and he began to watch which was the problem. He arrived to the conclusion that my graphic target was literally burned, (I've played too much with my computer). The graphic target had been burneed because of the RAM memory, which wasn't as strong as the GT and this one had to work the double than normally. My PC was made piece by piece, and it only was two years old so the major part of the pieces inside were still from the best ones, so I decided to change my GT and my RAM for more modern ones.
The problem is that the RAM I wanted comes from Corea, and it won't arrive until the next week.

Problems until the las moment

Last week I remembered that on the 5th of March we had to have the and portfolio finnished, so I decided that on Friday I would begin to make the first posts.
Friday arrived and when I left the high school and I finnished my english lessons I went to my house, I opened my computer and.. it didn't work, everytime I have to do sometghing important I have problems, but for me the fact was that my PC didn't work, and the first and main question which came to my mind was: what am I going to do this weekend without my computer? The answer to this question arrived on Friday's night, when I went to the TV and I discovered that at night, well, late night, in some new TDT channels series of my childhood are emitted.
I've spent all the weekend watching TV, and you don't imagine how amazing but boring can be doesn't know what to do.

As this is the third time I have to write this opening course letter I’ve decided to do it about “Why did I choose “tree”?”

Well, as you said people who usually choose “tree” are very nationalist and they love their country, and this is what it happens to me.

I don’t know why, but firstly I wanted to choose “earth” and I think it wasn’t a bad option because I’m a little bit rude and aggressive, but when I saw that “tree” also appeared in the option’s list I was sure that that had to be my election, and as I could discover later I wasn’t wrong because it was the option that it was more involved with me because I’m that type of people that if they have to choose between travelling or staying in their country, or what’s more, in their town or city they choose the second one. And this is exactly what it happens to me, I don’t like moving a lot, to me the best place where I can stay is in the city where I live (Figueres) or the village where I grew up (Riumors).

I hope these points have been enough to answer the question “Why did I choose “tree”?”

“It’s time for electronic books. Paper books are history.” Do you agree?

Nowadays it is a fact that our world is changing, and it is also a fact that we are in a situation where computers are the base to make everything.

It is so much the importance of computers that the governments think of changing paper books by electronic books in the schools.

In my opinion this is not a good idea, it is true that it will improve the ways of spelling in the classrooms, but if since the scripture was invented we have been writing and reading from papers and books I can’t believe that some people want to change it.

Firstly, whereas we need a book for every subject in school with electronic books we can have all the subjects in the same place, but there is a problem, and it is that if we lose the electronic book (the machine) we will lose all the books of all the subjects.

However, it is known for all people that machines which work with computer problems don’t live forever, and a computer virus could destroy all we have in the electronic books.

And it’s also important to remember that watching a screen six hours every day is going to cause more eyes injuries.

In conclusion I think that if we have studied for 5.300 years with paper books, we can live for five thousand more years with them.

Scientist find coral forest off Cap de Creus.

Since two-years the scientists study in an underwater canyon off the coast of Girona’s Cap de Creus, which is one of the richest and most important marine ecosystems in the Mediterrani.

To study this area they have been using a mini-sub and the Institut de Ciencies el Mar discovered a zone where it was a great abundance of white coral.

The canyon is 80 km wide and descends 1400m. At 300m, the research team discovered dense forest of white coral, and they calculated to be as old a 100 years.

This article it's one that I thing it's parcially respect in my country, democray made that torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatme or punishment were things of the past. However, lots of times authorities take benefit from their social position and make some "illegal" actions, an example was las year when there were riots because Mossos d'Esquadra hit and kick poor studiants and teachers which were not agree with the new model of education, later some people wants to know why other people name Mossos d'Esquadra as Gossos d'Esquadra.

This article in particular it wasn't respect for 40 years more or less because of the dictadure whereas in other democratic countries torture was totall forbiden.

The lonely boy

Today I'm going to explain a story which I listened from my great-grandfather when he was alive.
A long time ago, in Riumors, there was a child who didn't have friends.
One day a group of friends decided to play a joke on him. They caught him and then closed him in a sack, then they brought him to the belfry of the church, the boy shouted and cried a lot, and the group of friends tied the boy with chains in an old chamber of the belfry.
The boy stayed there all night, and when the group returned in the morning, the lonely boy had disappeared, they only found a finger tied in the chains.
Some people from the village, looked for the boy for weeks, they only found the finger tied in the chains.
The last person who lived this horrible facts is already dead.
Nowadays old people tell to anyone who wants to listen to them, the story of the lonely boy, and that when there's strong Tramuntana, you can still hear the screams of the boy of the belfry.

In 1960s in England appeared a social group known as MODS. Those were young people attracted by Elegant Clothes, Scooters and Violence.
At the same time Jamaica became independence, and lots of Jamaicans came to England to win money. With them also came another social group known as RUDE BOYS. Those were also young people attracted by elegant clothes and violence. So there weren’t a lot of differences between them.
hose groups began to go together and they finally become the same one. But with the time appeared differences between MODS coming from rich families and MODS with humbler families. Those, whose clothes weren’t as elegant as other ones began to wear clothes more typical from workers like Steel Toe Boots or Shoulders Straps. And they also began to shave their heads. This is the moment first skinheads appeared, known as Skinheads from the 69.
This is the origin of skinheads, and I think it’s a really interesting movement!

Wrestlemania 26!

Since 1985 WrestleMania is the most successful, longest-running professional wrestling event in the world. It is held annually in late March or early April. WrestleMania has become one of the most prominent events in sports entertainment. Wrestlemania has facilitated the rise to stadorm of wrestler as Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Steve Austin, The Rock, and Triple H, amongst others. Numerous celebrities such as Muhammad Ali, Mr. T, Alice Cooper, Donald Trump and others have participated or made special appearances in the events. Participation in a WrestleMania match, and especially the main event, is considered by many wrestlers and fans alike as one of the greatest achievements and symbols of professional success.

This year it's going to be the 26th edition of the most important event from WWE and from the wrestling world. It's said that as Wrestlemania 25 was not as exciting as it should have been, so this year WWE creatives told to the media that they are preparing a great surprise which will attract lots of people, in internet lots of people say that the event will be plenty of superstars from the nineties or that some retired superstars will come back to make their last match. I don't know what is going to take place, but I wish that is going to be quite better than last edition.

Jeffrey Nero "Jeff" Hardy (born August 31, 1977) is an American Professional Wrestler on the Raw brand of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Before gaining prominence in WWE, Hardy performed for the Organitzation of Modern Extrem Grappling Atacs (OMEGA), a promotion he ran with his brother Matt. After being signed by WWE, the brothers worked as jobbersbefore gaining notoriety in the tag team division, partly due to their participation in Tables, Ladders & Chairs Matches. With the addition of Lita, the team became known as Team Xtream and continued to rise in popularity. As a tag team wrestler, Hardy is a former six-time World Tag Team Championship and one-time WCW Tag Team Championship.

Apart from his success as a tag team wrestler, Hardy has also had success as a singles wrestler. He is a four time Intercontinental Champion, as well as having held the Hardcore, European and Light Heavyweight Championships. He received his first major main event push towards the end of 2007, including challenging for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble in 2008.

Survivor Series

Everyone who likes wrestling will know what Survivor Series is. Survivor Series is the third WWE most important PPV. The thematic of this one is the confrontation between different groups or stables which are created during the programmes before Survivor Series.

This year Survivor Series has been one of the most successful editions of history, why? Well, this year it took place a real war between the three rosters of WWE: Raw, Smackdown and ECW. The aim was to demonstrate which was the best roster. Between the different great matches which took place there was 5 man tag-team match, which finally was cancelled because all the members of the three rosters went to the ring and began to fight without laws. But the great match of the night was the TLC(Tables, Ladders and Chairs can be used as weapons) match which confronted John Cena (WWE Champion and Raw’s Captain), The Undertaker (World Heavyweight Champion, Smackdown! Captain) and Christian (Extreme Championship Wrestling Champion and ECW Captain); this match was also cancelled because of the apparition of all the wrestlers who began fighting another time.

In conclusion, a great PPV with lots of violence and very few moments to take air, it was really an exciting event.

Bragging Rights!

On Sunday 25 WWE celebrated for the first time the PPV Bragging Rights. This PPV only had an objective: to confront wrestlers form Smackdown! with wrestlers from Raw which are the two main leagues of WWE.

There were a lot of interesting matches as the 60 minutes Iron Man between Randy Orton or John Cena, the Match of Leagues where 6 members of every league were fighting in the ring at the same time… But, undoubtedly, the best match of the night was the Fatal-For-Way for the World Heavyweight Championship between The Undertaker, CM Punks, Batista and Rey Misterio, the first one was the current champion whereas the other three were former champions.

It was an exciting match, it was full of great moments as Batista’s spears to CM Punks and Rey Misterio which seemed to give the victory to Batista, but at the end The Undertaker put into practice his most lethal final movement; The Tombstone Pile Driver, to Batista.

The match was over, and as always Batista and Rey Misterio shook hands, but this time something was wrong: Batista begin to talk bad about Rey Misterio and he finally hit the little wrestler until the referee stop him.

David Michael Bautista, better known as Dave Batista or by the ring name Batista, is a wrestler of World Wrestling Entertainment Company. Nowadays he takes part in the roster of Smackdown!, one of the leagues of the wrestling company.

Batista is a three-time World Heavyweight Championship and the winner of the 2005 Royal Rumble match, one of the most important wrestling events of the year.

Batista is of Filipino and Greek heritage. His year of birth was disputed for several years. His website originally listed him as being born in 1969, while several contradictory news reports claimed that he was actually born in 1966. In March 2006, Batista stated in an interview that he was born in 1969. He confirms the same in his autobiography "Batista Unleashed".

He is very strong; he is one of the most powerful wrestlers of the moment, and also one of the most famous.

He had worked as culturist before beginning as a wrestler. He has won a lot of championships and titles since he began as a wrestler in 2002. Those are the main ones between others:

-United States Championship.

-WWE Tag Team Championship.

-World Heavyweight Championship (the most important)

-Royal Rumble Winner 2005.

To me Batista is the wrestler of the moment, and I think that he has not got good luck, because every time he could win very important championships he has get injured or accused of doping, although later it has been discovered that were lies expanded by wrestlers that were afraid of him.

John Cena & Orton vs. Raw Roster

On Monday Night Raw 18th May, John Cena and Randy Orton had to fight versus all the other wrestlers of Raw’s roster, so it was a Two Tag Team vs. Eighteen Tag Team Match!

This match was prepared by the manager of the week who was Triple H. In previous leagues Cena had organized matches as Orton vs. Orton in a Steel Cage, and Randy Orton had organized a match where Cena had to fight versus an old enemy: Pocholo Michaels.

It seems that this week’s match had to be won by Raw’s roster but it is said that the best union is one which is made by to enemies, and Cena and Orton put this expression in practice. The match was being won by the Two Tag Team until all the roster began to fight all together, so the match was stopped and the pair of fighters was proclaimed the champions of the match by disqualification.

After the match, when cams were not filming John Cena said to Randy Orton to make the peace, and shakes hands. After a pair of minutes of doubt, the Legend Killer: Orton, gives the hand to The Mariner: Cena, but as the dirty fighter Orton is, he tied to make his finish movement (The RKO, or the Randy Knocked Out) to Cena, who avoided it and make his finish movement, the Fu, to Orton.

GATILLAZO!

This Saturday I’m going with my friend Marc Puig to l’Hospitalet to a recital of “Gatillazo”.

This music band plays in a festival known as Villa-Rock and it will play with two other bands which will play before “Gatillazo” as support bands. The names of these two bands are “Ni porfavor ni ostias” and “El Rey de Espaldas”.

The best of all is that we don’t have exams until 4^th of May, so I have fifteen days to enjoy as I want, and this weekend I will not have to study, so I will spend it in Barcelona.

The planning begins on Saturday at 13:00 when me and Marc will meet and we will take the train to Barcelona. We’re going to spend the afternoon on Tallers Street, and at eight o’clock we are going to take the underground to l’Hospitalet.

Although the festival is not going to finish very late we will not come back to Figueres until 7:39 am, when the first train leaves. So we will have to spend all the night in Barcelona going from a pub to another one.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson

Today I’m going to talk about The Rock, now he’s a famous actor, but this hasn’t been like this all the life. The Rock, or Dwayne Johnson (his real name) became famous when he was at the university, where he played as American Football player. He rapidly became famous and The Hurricanes (one of the best American Football teams of the world) become interested in him, so when The Rock left the university he began to play as American Football player in The Hurricanes. There, as in his university team, he became one of the most important players of the team and his career began to go up as foam.

When he was on the top of American Football he start wrestling as an amateur, but he was so good that World Wrestling Entertainment Company made him the offer to work in WWE, so he left The Hurricanes and became a wrestler from WWE. And as it had taken place before he began to win and becoming more and more famous, he got the Top 1 in the Top 25 wrestlers from WWE since the second year of working on WWE. In only six years he won nine World Championships and become the Sixth Triple Crown Champion, which means to have won a World Championship, a World Tag Team Championship and a Intercontinental Championship. To win nine championships is not the most important, which is really important is to have done it in only seven years, when the wrestler who has won more World Championships is Ric Flair, with sixteen World Championships, it took it him thirty-eight years.

When The Rock was on the top of wrestling world he began to work as an actor, and he was so attracted by that type of work that he left WWE and began to work as an actor and as it always has taken place, now he is a great actor and also very famous.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has a slogan “I’ve always done what I want when I want” and this is what he has done.

Legends of Wrestlemania

Yesterday I talk about Wrestlemania 25, so today I'm going to talk about Legends of Wrestling, a videogame of new generation which will allow the player to use superstars from the last thirty years. Although it doesn't seem, this is great, it's great because in the rest of videogames WWE Company allways put current superstars, and didn't allow the player to use the best superstars: Legends of Wrestling.
But this is not all, in this videogame, if you had played with the las game of WWE: WWE: Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 Featurin ECW, you wiil be able to mixed matches with superstars from the passed and currend ones, making that Legends of Wrestlemania becomes one of the best wrestling videogames of all the times.

Oh yeah. This is the last term here in Castello, well it should be, but this year I'm not going to pass, so for me there is still another year, but I'm not worried about, because if this year I passed, I would get bad marks, so I prefer to repeat and next year take good marks.

Well, today I'm going to talk about Wrestlemania 25. Wrestlemania is the most important event of the wrestling world. And this edition is the most important one of all the times. It's the most important one because it's the 25th, and that means that is a quarter of century of wrestling history. So, Vince MacMahon, the presiden of World Wrestling Entertainment Company, has organized matches of all types, since the typicall ones untill the last genearation of matches with kendo sticks, tables, jails, ladders and also fire!:)
Although I'm looking forward to all this type of matches I'm more nervous to see who will take part in this matches, because although all the superstars are going to take part in the event, the most wonderful is that in the matches there will take part superstars from last twenty-five years, better known as Legends of Wrestling. That will mean that the matches where this superstars are going to take place will be reall matches, and not as where nowadays superstars take place, that are all prepared.

Cinema!

I think that cinema is one of the most important things in my life, not so much as videogames (of course, loool!) but yeah, imprescindible.
I really love to watch a film sitting on the sofa, drinking something and with good company, but always if it is a good film; I don't enjoy bad cinema. A few of my favourite films are Pulp Fiction, Sin City, the trilogy of The Lord Of The Rings, Truman's Show, 300, Kill Bill, American History X... All are amazing films, but I have to say that maybe Pulp Fiction or The Lord of the Rings are the best ones, I've watched it a lot of times, and everytime I've enjoyed more it. My favourite directors are Quentin Tarantino, Peter Jackson, Stanley Kubrick and others... .
In fact, I really love cinema and a lot of styles (I'm going from Kill Bill to The Lion King, and I think that without it, my life would change a lot and that would mean losing lots of brilliant moments.

London: Last Day

The last day of the trip we had free time. So we went to Nothing Hill's Gate where is a market: Portobello, but that day, Portobello's Market wasn't "open".
Portobello is a market where you can buy a lot of different things, things for the kitchen, clothes, there's a part of second hand, etc.
The problem was that the market is on sundays. However, in the same street there were some shops.
And finally, we returned to the hotel at the hour to take the cases. Then we went to the airport Stansted and... we come back to Catalonia!!!

London: Third Day

The third day started visitting St Paul's Cathedral. We wanted to enter but we couldn't because it was closed. After we went to Shakespeare's theatre. While we were walking we passed across a bridge which's was the newest one of the city, it's known as "Millenium Bridge". This bridge was opened in June of 2001. It has been designed by Norman Foster. It connects St Paul's Cathedral with Tate Modern and the bulding of Shakespeare Theatre. A guide explained to us the history of the theatre and Shakespeare. Afer all this we had free time and we went to eat.
After having lunch we went to Tower of London, we didin't enter but we searched for somethings realationated with the building as "Beefeaters". These are guides of the castle. Also we discovered that they cut the wings of the crows, so they couldn't fly. There's a legend say that if the crows desappear also will desappear the monarchy.
After we went to see the Tower Bridfe, the most famous bridge of London. The curious of the bridge is that the central part of the bridge can be opened. Then a big boat can pass. This only during sixty seconds.
After of this we returned to the hotel.

London: Second Day

The Second day of London travell began with all of us asleep. Dani and me didn't ete the breakfast of the hotel because we had to wait 2 minutes and we decided it was better to eat some food we had bought the day before.
Later we went to the Big Ben and some churchills arround the building. Then we went to St Jame's Park where live a lot of squirrels runing for the park. When we finnised the park we arrived to Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guard, but, finally, we couldn't see it.

So we went to Trafalgar Square and we had free time until 6 o'clock more or less, because then we had to return to the hotel.

In the free time me and some people went to the Covent Garden where we visited a market and we ate a hot dog and an icecream.
Then, in the hotel, we ate something and we went to the bedrooms.

London: First Day

The travel to London started on Saturday; at four o'clock, we had to in front of the high school to take the bus to go to the airport of Girona.
Before, some people went to the carnaval of Roses, like me, Andrew, Juju and Dani.
But we weren't tired and we arrived on time.
Without any problem, we went to the airport where we could pass the security control. Then we take the plane to go to England.
The flight was quick because in two hours, more or less, we arrived to the airport of Stansted.
The first that we did when we arrived in the city, after taking the bus to London, was bring the backs to the hotel.
The hotel was situated in Russel Square, a center zone with good communications.
After we went to visit the British Mueseum where we did a excercise that consisted in finding pieces of art. When we finished we ate something and we went to Trafalgar Square where we visited the National Gallery.
Later we had free time, so we walked by the Thames untill we arrived to the Big Ben. Then we went to Trafalgar Square with the other people and we returned to the hotel.
At 8:30 pm we down of the bedrooms to eat. We ate beef, potatoes and peas.
That was all for the first day!

This two persons: Batista (left), and John Cena (right), seems to be the best friends of the world, but some circumstancies have made than that they hate it each other.
Their history began one year ago, on that moment Batista and John Cena were the champions of their respective legues, Smackdown and Raw, but circumstancies made that the bosses of the company where they work, WWE, made them fighting in a match to collect the two titles they had, World Heavyweight Championship & WWE Championship, in the same league and made that the loser one disappeared, the fact is that this match wasn't finally disputted, because the two champs lost their titles some weeks before the match took place
In summer they had to fight, this wasn't a match where titles were in game, but it was a match to know who had won the two titles one year ago, the result was that the two wrestlers made it difficult to their opponent two submit each other, but finally, after a thirty minuts match, Batista made the count to John Cena, although it was one of the best, not to say the best one, matches of the last times, the two wrestlers were injured: John Cena got a contracture in the back, so he had two be away from the rings for four months, and when he came back and it seemed him and Batista were going to solve their problems, Batista got and injure in the knees which he had being standing until his summer match against Cena, so he will have to be five months without fighting.
I hope he recovers earlier than the doctors have told tho his fans, to watch him fighting on TV another time.

The Last One of the Term

Hi guyS!
This is the last entry, so today I'm going to talk about my plants for the weekend. Today at night I'm goin to go with some friends to El Local, a bar from Figueres, there we drink something, but the best is that there're som persons playing music and singing, and when you're there, and you stay with your friends, drinking, the feeling of being with your friends.. the environment is the best one you can ever seen!
Well, tomorrow, as I've just finnished all my homework I'm going to study a little bit, and at the night I'm going to go to the bowling with other friends and after that we're going to go to El Local another time!XD
Finally, on Sunday, my grandparents will celebrate 50 years of being married with all the family, so they've invited us to dinner. And after the dinner, I'm going to study a lot, beacuse this week is The Week of the Exams!

Tribal Wars!

Well, today I want to talk about Tribal Wars, because is the a game which I've played a lot since this summer. This is a free online game, where you have a little village with few inhabitants, and, during the time you have to increase the levels of your houses (for example Clay Pit, Smithy, Wall...) to win more points. When you have enough resources, you can do the academy. This last construction serves to do a different unit, who has the capacity to conquer anothers villages (with the support of you normal soldiers). This is the principal objective of the game. You can be the best player of the server if you obtain the majority part the villages of the server.

Hello people!
Today I'll talk about one of my dreams, the trip of my live: Greece. Well, at first, this is one of my dreams because I love his art, his mythology and his philosphy. When I visit Greece, I will pass for Ítaca, Troya, Delfos, Atenes, Esparta, Micenes, Olimp, and others. I know that if I only go there one time I'm not going to have time enough,so I hope that I will travel two or three more times. I really love this culture and this society. I think that his people were very clever, more than other societies. And nowadays, we live with a lot of things that they gave our, for exemple theatre, stadium, gym and the most important: the language. Catalan derive from latin and this derive from greek. A lot of catalan words have greek's roots. It's really interesting, for me, of course!
Well, this is all for today! I'm sure that this dream in a few years will be a reality!

Memories of Idhun!

My favorite book is Memories of Idhun.

I like this book a lot because when you're reading it you can imagine the things as you like, you can feel like the main character, you can be feel like one of them, and you can imagine that it happens to you... I don't know.. it's very strange.

This book speaks of a boy and a girl who are created like human but they discover that they are of another world. The boy in truth is a dragon and the girl an unicorni. There is also another young boy which is a snkae with wings known as "Shek". Later there is a history of love between the two boys and the girl. Only they three will be able to save their world and to live peacefully, but this is very difficult because they have to fight against seven Gods.

This book is really exciting, incredible, beautiful.. it has two more books after that, but the first is without any doubt the best one.

I believe that I am one of the boys that I am of another world and that I have powers.. When I'm reading this book the time is stopped. I can spend hours reading.

I recommend this book for the people who likes imaginating and fantasy!=)

This is my second post of the first term, and I'm going to talk about the last Tuesday. The social and humanistic class went to Barcelona to visit different things like "el pavello Van Der Roche", "Fundacio Miro" and finally to "MNAC", the nacional museum of art of Catalunya.

First of all, we went to saw the pavello Van Der Roche. I like very much this place because althought was built in the 20 century, is like an actual building. Also I like very much their structure, and the light of the building.

Let's go with another year of blogger.
This is the last year I'm going to spend in this college, and I think it's also the most difficult year, because we have to do a lot of things:
On one hand we have the TDR, which takes a lot of our time. On the other hand we have a lot of exams and we also have to study every day, because to succeed we have to do daily work, so this course I think is the most stressful one.
By the moment I haven't worked a lot, but I've just done three exams, like Historia de l'Art, Castellà, or Filosofia. I wish I've passed.
Although I've done some exams, last week I did the most important one: the recuperation exam of filosofia. And the best is that I passed with the best mark of the class: 5'25, so imagine which were the other marks..-.-'
Well, this is the first entry of the course, tomorrow I'm gonna do another one;D

Today I'm not very inspirated, but I must do the entries, so let's go with this!

Miquel, Miki for friends, is one year older than me. I knew Miki three years ago in english extra-school classes... we didn't alk a lot, but 2 years ago Miki and me were involved in a fight that we didn't had caused, and since this day we have shared a lot of good moments!=) But nowadays we're not very good for some personal problems.. (although I think the only one who has a problem is him). So, I wish that one day he will see things as they really are and we could be as friends as allways without any problems.

Rubik Cube!

Hi!
I’m going to talk about my new hobby: The Rubik Cube.
One day I watched a TV report which talked about this mental game. As you know, it’s a cubs with each side of a different colour and each colour divided on nine squares. It consists on order it to get all the same colour squares in the same side. Do it without the method is impossible, so you have to learn some algorithms.
This report and the brain training game impress me a lot and I decided to learn how to do it.
Firstly, I watched some video rules in the youtube. There, some people explain you how to solve it by the easiest way.
But well, without the cub I couldn’t do nothing and Carla told me that in the Chinese shop there was it for only 0’75 €. So, she went there to buy me one, as a present.
Since then I started to do it listening the rules of the man in the video, after I wrote the rules in a paper and now, I can do it without any rules. I can do it in less than three minutes; my record is 2 minutes 27 seconds.
But the thing doesn’t finish here because Ferran, Guillem and Carla, also learned how to do it influenced by me. The bad is that they have already stopped to learn it. Moreover, as I bring the cub in the excursions, people of first batxillerat also are in the game.
It’s funny because when you are doing it, all people are looking you and well, I recommend it to all boys to get girls!

Hello!

Today I’m going to talk about SKINHEADS!

In 1960s in England appeared a social group known as MODS. Those were young people attracted by Elegant Clothes, Scooters and Violence.

At the same time Jamaica became independence, and lots of Jamaicans came to England to win money. With them also came another social group known as RUDE BOYS. Those were also young people attracted by elegant clothes and violence.

So there weren’t a lot of differences between them.

Those groups began to go together and they finally become the same one. But with the time appeared differences between MODS coming from rich families and MODS with humbler families. Those, whose clothes weren’t as elegant as other ones began to wear clothes more typical from workers like Steel Toe Boots or Shoulders Straps. And they also began to shave their heads. This is the moment first skinheads appeared, known as Skinheads from the 69. This is the origin of skinheads, and I think it’s a really interesting movement!

Yesterday, in Madrid, a cycle finished. A cycle of the football team FC Barcelona (from Barcelona, obviously), who lost the match between them and Real Madrid with a clear result 4-1. This year, the team hasn't been a team; the football players have been only a few undisciplined young mens who have spend their time going out and don't respecting to the team rules. So, the year has been an horrible year; no LFP (Spanish league), no Champions League, no Copa del Rey, no derby and no anything. In theory, FC Barcelona is a great team, and this results can't be for a team like that, so a lot of things will have to change; the coach, most of the players and a lot of directives. This week the first new about that who had took place is that Frank Rijkaard, the actual trainer, will be out of his place and Pep Guardiola (an ex-player of FCB) will took his place as coach of the team.
We hope next year everything will be better!

Yesterday, the Barrakes in Figueres finished as ever had finished; we stayed there for hours (until 7:0am) and we enjoyed the most the night, talking, joking and laughing with friends in the place where Embarraca't take place. Yesterday was Saturday and the last day, so a lot of people came, it was plenty, because it was Saturday and because the bands Dekrèpits and Obrint Pas came, the whole community will came :D But today is Sunday=( And great part of the people who have lived this great Embarraca't, I feel bad, because it's a year to repeat it... and for little quantities of alcohol..

Today I'm going to talk about a film I really enjoyed:

I recommen this movie because now that I have studied in Latin the true gladiator's lives in Rome, I can see that the film it's quite realistic.
I choose this movie because everytime that I see it ,I cry of emotion (yes.. i'm very sensitive-.-'),because is cruel but beautiful too, especially at the end of the film.

Hello one more time people!
This time maybe I've started a bit late, but we've got a lot of work, exams and books to read, so I haven't found a space for the blog since now. In 1 month we finish the school year, and we have to do the final sprint which is very hard...

This weekend has been different, but no better than others. The only special thing that I've done was on Friday, when some students of 1st. Batxillerat met at Empuriabrava to have a lunch (I didn't go to the lunch, I had come later) and to do SOMETHING because the concert which was organized by 2^nd Batxillerat had been cancelled... 2 friends and me came at Empuria at nearly 0:00, but we stayed only until 2:30 because we were tired and it wasn't a very funny party there.
A part of this, I have stayed at home these whole 2 days, reading for the school and staying at the computer with music or surfing the Internet... I hope next weekend will be better!!!

So, that's all for today. I will do more posts soon (if not, I won't end the Blog :S!)

Today it has been a difficult day, but nothing extremelly...
But I've to admit that it has been also exciting!!! You maybe are thincking why.. so I'll explain yoU!
Today when I've had lunch I've gone to my grandparents farm, and when I've arrived I've seen that all the pregnan cows were running out of the place where they should be, so I've phoned my grandad and we have put the cows to the right place, but with all the excitement three of the cows have aborted and they have lost the babies.. thanks god we have helped one of the cows and its son has survived.
So this has been my superday!

Today we've gone to Perpinyà. Firstly we had to be fifteen, but finally we only were twenty students, so the bus it wasn't very full...
The day has been funny:
-On the morning we've gone with the perpinyan students and we have had breakfast with them, I've to say that their apple juice is not very gustative... After this we have done questions to Joan-Lluis Lluis, and after he has dedicated the book to us.
-On the middle day we've gone to have lunch, and after this we've gone to a castle where we have gone to a giant tower (it hasn't like to me)
Finally we have left to Castello.

Now I'm going to study history, because in two days we have exam!!

WrestleMania has become one of the most prominent events in sports entertainment. Participation in a WrestleMania match, and especially the main event, is considered by many wrestlers and fans alike as one of the greatest achievements and symbols of professional success.
The 30 of March is going to be Wrestlemania 24, which will supose the most important even by PPV of the year, and the event which will give place to the end of the wrestling seaseon and the pass to a new one.
One of the main events of this edition will be the match between Floyd "Money" Mayweather, who is the United States Boxing champion, vs. Big Show, who is a giant of 2 metters and 20 centimetters. But there will be other important matches, as the Triple Threat Match between Triple H, Randy Orton and John Cena for the WWE Championship, the Last Chance Match between The Undertaker and Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship, the Career Threating Match between Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels or the Match of Leagues, where a fighter of Raw (Umaga) and a fighter of Smackdown! (Batista) will fight to see which league is the best one.

Hi people!
Today has been a great day, but it can't be compared with yesterday.
I've waken up a half past twelve anf I've drunk a lot of watter--'. After this I've gone to Riumors and I've had lunch.
At half pas four me and my friends we've arrived to Fortià to go to the match, because the team has won all the matches since eight weeks ago, but as it has begun to rain a lot the match has been stopped and we have had to leave to Riumors, as it was still raining a lot and we went cycling we have finnished wet.
Now I'm going to study literature because tomorrow we have exam.

Today I've waken up at half past ten and I haven't done anything until half past three, when my cousin David and my friend Marc have come to figueres to go shopping. We've spent all the time going on shopping and buying different things. Although we've spent a lot of time we haven't done anything which can be considered important.
So now, I'm going to talk about what I'm going to do this night:
Yesterday a friend told to me that there was a lot of time since the last party we did in his house, so today he has spent all the morning phoning all our friends, and now we were preparing the party (after have gone to the supermarket to buy all we need) when I've remembered I had to do the entry to the blog, so this why and what I'm doing here now.
I don't have nothing more to say, only one thing, people after you have gone to the party and you see this, you'll remember how it was the super mikels house partY!

Today... what can I say about today? So that it has been a great one:
The first class of the morning has been gymnastics, today it has been funny because I've laughed a lot with Lau and with her hits to the ball. After gymnastics I had informatic class, I haven't done a lot because all the work we had to do has been done by Xuki, my partner. After this we've gone to latin, which has like me a lot because we had to do a traduction and I've known how to do it!.
It was the break time so we've gone to El pUnt, and I've seen how people studied english, and when the breaktime has finished we've gone to do english exam, it wasn't extremely difficult but comparing with other exams we had done, it was a little bit difficult. I've finnished the exam when it still was a quarter to finnish the class, but I haven't give the exam to the teacher because I wanted to see my partners faces. Finally I've arrived to music class thirty minuts latter but I don't mind because.. because I prefered stay in english=)
And finally, but not less important, the best thing of all the day is that we have left an hour before the normal time, because Isabel, the literature teacher, is in Italy and we hadn't class.

Hi people,

Today it's Thursday, so I've just done three of the most difficult exams of the term, on Tuesday I did filosofy exam, it was a very difficult exam, and I think that like the other term I'm going to fail.
On Wednesday I did the latin exam, it wasn't difficult, but it wasn't also easy, I wish I'm going to pass it, but I don't think I'm going to pass the term because I failed the other exam with a 3'82. Today we've done spanish exam, like latin exam it wasn't difficult, but it would be better if I had studied more. Finally, tomorrow we have english exam, but I'm not afraid, I don't think I'll have any problems.
For the next week I've other exams like literature exam, history exam... but ther aren't very difficult. Although they aren't very difficult I'll have a lot of work, because I've to read 3 books and make a lot of homework.
So for today it's enough, tomorrow I'll explain how the english exam has gone!:)

I don't remember when it was yhe last time I did an entry, so today I've decided to renew because if I don't do it the next week I will have a lot of work and no time to do it all the things I've got to do.

Ok, this is a diffiult week, I think it is the most difficult I've had this course, because tomorrow I have filosofy exam, the next day latin exam, and in both I put my notes in game, so alea jacta est!

Yesterday we had to do catalan exam, today we have done an english exam, and tomorrow I've to do literature exam, this is the last exam of the term, after this exam there are four free days, four days to relax, but I'll miss some people... and I'll have to read a book and make a lot of homework... :( I heve finally written the entry numeber 10!!!! TRIPLE THREAT MATCH!

The most vicious circle in sports-entertainment becomes three-sided going into Armageddon, where Edge, The Undertaker and World Heavyweight Champion Batista will square off in a Triple Threat Match. Although the gold is always the ultimate prize to strive for, this particular three-for-all is the burn prove of the three fighters.
For Edge, Armageddon is an opportunity to reclaim the World Heavyweight Title that an injury had forced him to relinquish last July. As he told our fans on Smackdown, it’s also a chance to fulfill a dream that he now shares with his new love, General Manager VickiGuerrero. Edge credits Vickie as the motivating force for his return at Survivor Series, where he interfered in Batista and Undertaker’s Hell in a Cell Match, and cost The Phenom a possible sixth World Title.
Survivor Series wasn’t the first time this year that the Ultimate Opportunist had robbed Undertaker of that which he holds in highest regard. Last May on SmackDown, after battling Batista to a Steel Cage stalemate and enduring a vicious surprise assault from Marc Henry, the battered Phenom was unable to stop Edge from cashing in a “Money in the Bank” contract and defeating him for the World Heavyweight Title. The Deadman won’t rest in peace until he finally gets his hands on Edge. And he’ll have that opportunity at Armageddon.
As usual, Edge isn’t happy about this, especially after he was forced to watch his lover suffer an Undertaker Tombstone on SmackDown a week after Survivor Series. Another week later, The Deadman nearly claimed his retribution when he suddenly interrupted Edge’s title match with Batista. But when The Animal speared Edge out of Undertaker’s cold clutches, allowing the Ultimate Opportunist to escape, The Phenom again took his building frustrations out on the nearest object within his grasp.

It was at that moment when Theodore Long surprised our fans and all three Superstars with his first SmackDown appearance in more than two months, and announced the Triple Threat Match for Armageddon.

Hi people!!!!

This time I'm going to talk about THE ORANGE CLOCKWORK, this is one of thebest Stanley Kubrick films. In this film there is a lot violence, it talks about mod's moement, those are the antecedents of the actual Skinheads and the precedents of Rude Boys.
In the film there are a group of four mods who do what they want when they want (this is the base of mods movement).
The main caracter is lied by the other trhee friends and he has to pass 6 years in the prision. When he leaves of the prision all the people, who had been hit and stolen by him, begins to hit and punih him. The worst of all is that he discover that the mods, who send him to the prision, have become in what they hated most; policemans.

I like a lot this Stanley Kubrick film, there are other good films like La chaqueta metálica or El Resplandor.

Hi friends!
Today I'm going to write about a match that will take place in Survivor Series, the match is between Hornswoggle and The Great Khali.
Hornswoggle is the lowest fighter of all the times, he is only 1 meter and 20 cm high, and The Great Khali is the second highest fighter of all the times, he is 2 meters and 30 cm high, he only has been superated by another figher, Andre the Giant, who was 2 meters and 35 cm high.
I just know that it is only one possibility between 1000000000000000000000000000..., but I wish that Hornswoggle will win the match. :)

Today I want to talk about... BONOBOS!
Bonobos are a type of monkeys that have a lot of similitudes with us, the humans.
The most important similitude is that they practice sex for pleasure. When they're eating... they practice sex, when they are angry for something... they practice sex, when they are bored... they practice sex! They use SEX for all!
But they don't always practice sex between a male and a female, they also practice between males, but this is also done by other types of animals...

Althought it was very dificult, this night the World Heavyweight Cahmpion David Batista has retained the title in No Mercy.
The match was between The Animal Batista and The Punjabi Monster The Great Khali. The matchhas been a Punjabi Prison, this is a match where the fighters have to escape from a double cage made with bamboo, the first is a 16 feet cage and the second a 20 feet cage. The only way to escape from the cages is climbing it.
After a difficult fight Bastista has won the match and he has demostrated to people that the size is no the mostimportant thing, because Khali is on meter higher than Batista.

John Cena's injury

WWE Champion John Cena has suffered a complete tear of his right pectoral tendon and needed surgery, according to noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Because of the seriousness of the injury, WWE officials will not allow Cena to compete this Sunday at No Mercy, and he will have no choice but to surrender the title.

As a result of the injury, Cena could miss between six months to one year of action. Cena was injured during his match Monday night on Raw. According to WWE physician Dr. Ferdinand Rios, Cena's injury was more serious than initially thought.
"He has a complete tear of his pectoralus major muscle," Rios said. "Because he’s so big, [the tendon tear] is behind the muscle. It was hard to diagnose."
Rios said Cena will be hospitalized for a few days to learn the rehabilitation procedure he must undergo. His arm will be immobilized for a week and then therapists may allow him to start moving it so that the arm doesn't become stiff.
Rios said that Cena is so dedicated to WWE that he wouldn't be surprised to see him return sooner than later.
"I suspect that John might be able to come back sooner [than most people with this injury], as he’ll train vigorously," Rios said.
Before visiting Dr. Andrews, Cena had said last night, “No matter how serious the injury, one way or another I’ll be ready to compete on Sunday.”
But despite Cena’s vow, WWE officials will not allow him to compete at No Mercy. Therefore, he must surrender the WWW Championship.
WWE officials vow that there will be a WWE Championship Match this Sunday at No Mercy and a new WWE Champion will be crowned.
UPDATE: WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon opened ECW on Sci Fi Tuesday night with the announcement that John Cena's injury required immediate surgery, and the now-former WWE Champion will miss six months to a year. Mr. McMahon also assured, however, that the vacant WWE Championship will not remain that way for long; at No Mercy this Sunday, a new WWE Champion will be crowned, and "history will be made."

Hello this is the first time that I do this and I think that is a very interesting thing, to begin I will talk about my best hobby and the best fighter of all the times!

His name is David Batista and borned in Washington in the 70, now is one of the most important fighters of WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), this it's a free fight league, but this has another subleagues like Smackdown, Raw or ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling), Batista is a Smackdown fighter. The best atack of Batista is the Batista Bomb, and it's a final atack.

Now Batista is the World Heavyweight champion, this is the 3rd time that Batista obtains the title:
Batista obtained the title for first time in 2005, but few weeks later was inujuried and he had to stay out nearly 1 year of the ring.
The second time Batista won Booker King and obtained the World Heaviweight title, but one month and a half later lost the title fighting with the Undertaker, that is one of the strongest fighters of WWE, but this lost the title with Edge after a dificult fight with Batsita. 2 months later Batista fought with Edge, but he lost for ring out (10 seconds satying out of the ring).
One month later Edge lost the title because he had an important injurie and the title was won by the Great Khali, this is a giant of 2 meters and 21 centimeters. At the biginning of September Batista obtained the title in a thriple threat between Batista, The Great Khali and Rey Misterio (1'62 meters) and was proclamed the new World Heavyweight Champion.
The 7th of October has to fight with The Great Khali in a Punjabi Prison, this is a cage made with wood and bamboo, I think that Batista will win the match but with difficulties, because Khali is a dirty fighter but he also is a great fighter. Good luck Batista! (you will need)
